Biography

Hanushree is a research student at the Engineering Design Centre and a member of the Health Systems Design Group. Supervised by Professor John Clarkson, her research focuses on applying a systems approach to understanding and supporting the medical device industry in Malaysia. Her interest is in encouraging the co-development of innovative, user-centred design and delivery processes that result in devices that are fit for their intended purpose, safe and compliant with local and international regulations. She is supported by Advance Pact Sdn. Bhd, a healthcare consultancy and services company based in Malaysia.
 
She holds an undergraduate degree in Medical Biosciences from Monash University and an Honours research degree in the field of Virology from the same institution. Following the completion of her degree, she worked with the Tropical Infectious Disease Research and Education Centre at the University of Malaya, contributing to vaccine development for vector-borne diseases.
