Pradipta Biswas is a Research Associate at the Engineering Design Centre and Trinity Hall of University of Cambridge. He works on developing user models that help to reflect problems faced by people with different range of abilities. He is now working on the GUIDE (Gentle User Interfaces for Disabled and Elderly citizens) project, which is funded by a European Union grant. The project involves partners at France, Germany, Spain and Portugal and aims to build a framework for developing accessible, adaptable and multi-modal digital TV interfaces. The project is part of the VUMS (Virtual User Modelling and Simulation) cluster.
