Dr. Pradipta Biswas

I am a Research Associate at the Engineering Design Centre and Trinity Hall of University of Cambridge. I completed PhD in Computer Science at the Rainbow Group of University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory in 2010 and was awarded a Gates-Cambridge Scholarship in 2006. I previously undertook a first degree in Information Technology at the University of Kalyani and a master degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. I am a visiting professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi and a vice chairman at ITU-T Focus Group on Smart TV. Besides academics, I am a keen rifle shooter, won gold medals in Imperial Shooting Meet 2011 and 2012, captain of Trinity College graduate cricket team and secretary of the Engineering Department cricket team during 2010-12.
