Developing Tools for Communicating Inclusive Design Principles

Abbreviated abstract

This paper describes one approach to communicating the importance of approaches such as inclusive design to industry. It describes a set of tools initially developed for use in "high impact" one-day training workshops, consisting of an A5 card pack, presentations, interaction boards and product examples.

The work was funded by the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and carried out by the Centre for Inclusive Technology and Design (CITD).
