About RIGHT

RIGHT is a collaborative research venture involving several of the UK's leading universities, which aims to introduce healthcare service planners to some of the best-practice modelling and simulation methods that are used to support decision-making in other sectors, such as industry & manufacturing, aerospace and the military. In doing this, RIGHT is applying research to a widely recognised gap in Healthcare management.

Between 2007 and 2009 RIGHT carried out a pilot project, working with Government, Industry and the NHS to create a framework, tools and training that enables healthcare planners, at all levels of practice from clinicians to policy makers, to structure their problems, evaluate the resources available to them and then select appropriate modelling strategies.

From 2010, RIGHT is embarking on a significant, long-term extension of its pilot-phase work, involving a wider range of NHS and Industry partners and including the internationalisation and commercialisation of some of its work. If your organisation is interested in supporting, or becoming otherwise involved in, this phase of RIGHT's work, contact us at right-info@brunel.ac.uk.
