Modelling & Management of Engineering Processes
The SIG Modelling & Management of Engineering Processes aims to improve the understanding of engineering processes, to develop methods and tools for modelling and to improve the management of engineering processes.
Several universities and research groups around the globe are working on this subject from different perspectives, with different approaches and results. The variety of these approaches is a sign of the richness of the field.
The webpages in this section aim to give you a first idea of these approaches, their theoretical underpinnings and conceptual basis, their methods and tools developed or under development, some results and further ideas for work and research. The following partners have committed to contribute a description of their approach:
- Chair for Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, Germany
- Cambridge Engineering Design Centre, Cambridge, UK
- Institute for Product Development at Technische Universität München, Germany
- Chair of Integrated Product Development, Department of Machine Design at the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm, Sweden
If you would like to add your approach to this list, please send us your input and we would be happy to add it to the website.
