Dr Stewart Johnstone
Stewart completed undergraduate studies at the University of Aberdeen before completing an MSc in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He subsequently completed a PhD at Loughborough University Business School, investigating collaborative union-management partnerships in the UK financial service sector. He is interested in human resource management and employment relations generally, but specific interests include issues of employee representation and social partnership. Stewart is a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and a Member of the British Universities Industrial Relations Association.
