Murray Sinclair B.Sc. (chem.), M.Sc. (Ergon), F.Erg.S., Eur.Erg., M.IEEE-EMS

Murray Sinclair is a Senior Lecturer in Ergonomics in the Department of Human Sciences at Loughborough University. Current research areas include: knowledge structures and the management of knowledge within organisations; issues of corporate governance and the organisational structures needed to support this; the amelioration of the effects of complexity in the design and operation of systems; and the human issues in the design and subsequent operation of systems intended to be ‘immortal’.
He has been involved in a dozen major collaborative projects in advanced manufacturing, mainly in the ESPRIT, RACE and BRITE-EURAM programmes in the European Union. More recent funding has come from industry and from the EPSRC. Murray is a Fellow and a recent Council Member of the Ergonomics Society, a registered European Ergonomist and member of the IEEE Engineering Management Society.
