Kathryn Fahy BSc, MA

Kathryn Fahy is Research Associate in the Department of Management Learning & Leadership at Lancaster University Management School. She has undertaken research in the chemical manufacturing industry, the NHS, and the food manufacturing sector, on the management of change, the i mpact of new technologies, behaviour health & safety and corporate environmental response. She is currently co mpleting doctoral research at Lancaster University on corporate response to environmental sustainability pressures in the UK food manufacturing sector.
Kathryn’s contribution to the KIM project is on Task 2.2 focusing on learning from product use in product-service systems. Kathryn is interested in approaches to thinking about learning that highlight the situated, relational and socially and materially distributed nature of organisational learning and knowledge. She is a research fellow of the UK’s Advanced Institute of Management (AIM) initiative.
