Dr Edward Finch MSc PhD MCIBSE CEng MBIFM

Dr Edward Finch is a Reader in Facilities Management at Heriot Watt University. His research work reflects a longstanding interest in the way that buildings affect the organizations and individuals that inhabit them. This brings the disciplines of environmental-psychology; innovation and workplace design. He is Editor of Facilities which is the most longstanding academic international publication in the area of facilities management. He has written books and academic papers on the subject of IT in construction as well as facilities management. He is Task Group Leader for Task 2.2 in the recently awarded ‘Grand Challenge - Immortal Information and Through-life Knowledge Management’ project.
