Carole Elliott BA, MSc, PhD

Carole Elliott is a Lecturer in the Department of Management Learning and Leadership at Lancaster University. She has published predominantly in the fields of management learning and Human Resource Development. She is a strong advocate of a critical perspective on HRD research and practice, which led to the publication of Critical Thinking in Human Resource Development, Routledge, 2005. She is a co-editor of the electronic journal Organizational Management. Currently, the Director of the MA in HRD and Consulting at Lancaster University, in 2005 she became an Associate Fellow of the UK’s Advanced Institute of Management (AIM) research initiative.
