Dr Jeremy Eastwood
Research Associate
- B.A. (Engineering), University of Cambridge, 2008
- MEng (Aerospace Engineering), University of Cambridge, 2008
- PhD in Transonic Aerodynamic Design, University of Cambridge, 2012
Jeremy completed his undergraduate degree in Engineering at the University of Cambridge, specialising in Aerodynamics. His Masters thesis looked at the wing design of a laminar flying wing (LFW) aircraft as part of the ongoing 'Green Aircraft Design' group project, which looks to develop a low fuel-burn alternative to current passenger aircraft. Jeremy started his PhD in the Engineering Department at the University of Cambridge in 2008, invesitgating the design of 3D shock control bumps (SCBs) for transonic wings, supervised by Dr Jerome Jarrett. Upon completion in 2012, he joined the staff as a Research Associate, looking at the computational design of compressor systems.
